Beginning Monday May 9th the Village of Tupper Lake Department of Public Works will pick up flood debris for Village Residents.

Declared State of Emergency continues in both the Town and the Village. Emergency orders prohibiting boating in inundated areas continues within the Village.

As you know, the Town and Village of Tupper Lake have been significantly affected by flooding over the past several days. Your business may have been affected and as part of the event documentation we are asking that you estimate the financial impact of the flooding to your business.

Floating debris of significant value (i.e. docks, boats, etc.) will be towed by boat crews and secured. Contact Village Police at 897-2000 to claim missing items.

Prior to re-installing of the electric meters that have been removed due to flooding conditions, business and residences must first have the premises inspected by the Village or Town Code Enforcement Officer.

Water levels appeared to have crested but weather conditions over the next few days may have an adverse effect.
